Grunge-ness.

I love face shots best. The face is the only thing that can give a peek inside of the soul of a woman, and we can only see that through the window of the artist. I think this artist captured the model's emotion, and created a feeling via artistic expression. The expressions are the coarseness of the hair, the absolute black color of the hair, and the overall "grunge" effect. The contrasting colors here offer a unique, and rare blend. Some effort went into this art because there are so many effects. The contrast blend effect is admirable (probably done with layers?). I like borders and a signature. That is the only thing missing.
